Hey Everyone, 

As the calendar flips to November, we just wanted to say this season has been a lot of fun so far -- and it's been great seeing so many new faces! 

A reminder that on Tuesday -- we'll have TRIVIA after curling.  

CANADIAN PRIDE CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
How would you like to represent our club and city - at the 2025 Canadian Pride Curling Championship?

We will be hosting the national event in April -- and we are now officially accepting submissions for representation. If your team is interested -- please contact either Lars Erickson or David Gallant -- as soon as possible. 

THE DEADLINE TO EXPRESS INTEREST IS NOVEMBER 15TH. 

We are also still in search of sponsors -- if you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to the board. 

ICE BREAKER BONSPIEL
We are just over a week away from the Ice Breaker Bonspiel. It will take place November 8 - 10 at the Granite Curling Club. Even if you're not competing, it would be great to see you come down and support our league -- and meet some new people. Kris and Stephen have put in a lot of work to make this event a huge success -- so let's show them some love :)

Pac Rim Cup Bonspiel - hosted by the PRCL - will be held January 17-19, 2025

Is there anything better than a trip to the Paris of the Prairies?

Saskatoon will once again host its 8th Annual Rock the River Cup bonspiel and registration is now open. 

Dates: March 7-9, 2025 (welcome reception Mar 6)
Registration fee: $440.00 + taxes
Over $12,500 in cash prizes, plus other non-cash prizes to be won
Socials each day, breakfast Fri/Sat/Sun, and supper Fri/Sat included in your fee

Team Edmonton has been a big part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community here in Edmonton -- helping coordinate and support diverse and inclusive sports leagues.
They are hoping to have someone from our league join their board -- they meet once a month. It would be a great opportunity to represent our league and give back to our community.
