Member E-mail: Draw Information & Updates

Hello Curling with Pride!!

Please find attached the schedule till December 15th. Huge thank you to our secretary Jason Duiker for putting it together and Treasurer Nicole Petrosky for checking it over. Reminder, we curl every Tuesday at 7:30 PM at the Granite Curling Club. Please try to arrive early to sign the waiver.

The ice is in! Practice Ice is available through their site at https://granitecurlingclub.com/

NEW THIS YEAR - To try to keep curlers informed about their rankings through the season, we are going to implement a QR code system to record wins, losses and points scored. This will allow us to see the results of games without waiting for everyone to record at the end of each game. We will still use the draw sheet as a back up, but we do encourage everyone to use the QR codes.

For those curlers with a bye on the first week, we do encourage you to come out to cheer the other teams on and participate in the Fall AGM. All curlers who stay for the Fall AGM will receive a drink ticket. The Fall AGM will begin once curling is finished on Tuesday Oct 6th.

Reminder - Sunday October 25th will be our Curling Clinic. We are looking for instructors and have reached out to Curling Alberta for some leads. If anyone has a connection that is affordable, please let us know.

Icebreaker Bonspiel - Spots are still available for our Icebreaker Bonspiel November 13 th 15th. Grand Prize is $1000, with lots more prizes to be won all weekend long. Click here to register

Canadian Pride Curling Championship - Is your team wanting to represent Curling with Pride in Winnipeg in February 2027? Let the board know via email by October 31st!

Looking forward to seeing you all on the ice next week!
